Content design will entail well tested solutions for discussions during the training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development of Cases<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We intend to make use of a number of case studies which will ensure that participants fully understand the issues discussed during the training sessions. The case studies will be based on practical situations which participants can identify with.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Developing the Training Manual<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main material for the training programme will be a training manual which will be developed based on information obtained from Step 1. The training manual will cover the key areas base on modules chosen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To develop the training manual, extensive research will be carried out on the training areas to identify current trends and best practices. The manual will also be tailored to suit the exact needs of participants as identi\ufb01ed in Step 1.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5.2 <strong>Step II \u2013 The Training Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In delivering the training, we propose to use a combination of methods to support our participant cantered orientation. These include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructor Led Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experienced training experts would facilitate the sessions. We will rely on the training materials and experience to ensure that participants understand the various concepts and their applications to build the required skills.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Play by Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure the participation of all, presentations will be made by the participants either as individuals or teams to ensure their understanding of the concepts and issues discussed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Case Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make the training practical, cases relevant to the training modules will be brought up by the training consultants for discussion. The objective is to assess how participants will react to various scenarios in the course of their work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>General and Group Discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure that the training sessions are participatory, emphasis will be placed on general and group discussion. Participants will therefore be encouraged to share their ideas and contribute to the understanding of issues.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience Sharing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is expected that through sharing, individual participants will bene\ufb01t from the experience of their colleagues especially those who have practical experience in any of the training areas<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Training Aids<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apart from the main training manual, we will use \ufb02ip charts, PowerPoint slides, Videos, and an LCD Projector to facilitate the training.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5.3<strong> Step III \u2013 Evaluation and Submission of Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Step IV involves the analysis of evaluation questionnaires to be completed by participants after training.<\/p>\n<p>Information obtained from the analysis will enable us learn from participants and improve subsequent training for other courses in the programme.
